Homeless Nashville

How do you describe being homeless? Growing up in a middle class family, doing all the right things. Then one day, you are on the street. What Happens now?

My Photo
Location: Nashville, Tennessee, United States

Now that I am no longer homeless, I still hope to help others. There are a few who truly want off the streets, out of the soup lines. Back to a "normal" way of living. Everyone who is homeless isn't a bum, nor a criminal. There are those that just need a chance. My first day as a homeless person was April 1st, 1997. From then on its been an unreal experience. Not one I would suggest anyone go thru, but one I know I have learned from. I hope in some way this blog helps you, the reader know a little about me. But more important , I hope it helps you understand a little more about homeless people in general.

Good Morning! I very rainy day here in Nashville. Thunderstorms going on!
I hope everyone likes the new look, I felt it was time for a change. The old look was pretty plain. I saved the old template before trying anything and was able to take my changes from it and add it too this template.
No news on the job scene, but I have high hopes.
Still looking for someone who is a graphic artist. I need a logo for some bumperstickers and such. There are some guidelines to it that have to be followed( the company that makes everything has their guidelines). Anyone who might be able to help would be appreciated!
Its very difficult for homeless in the winter. It rains here, seldom snows. Therefore homeless tend to get wet and with now way to dry off, they stay that way all day and sometimes into the night. Colds and the flu are pretty rampant and occasionally there will be those with pneumonia. The diet of most homeless doesn't help matters any at all.
I have some appointments, I hope to post more this afternoon.
Have a great day everyone!

I'm so glad to note your recent posts seem full of hope and cheer, despite the bad weather. Can't wait to hear more about how the appointments went! Good luck!

Oh, by the way, have you seen this article by Blogger.com? I don't know how well it works, but you can supposedly make a small income from allowing ads on your blog. Read more about it at http://www.google.com/services/adsense_tour/
